THE GAPS
360fly had built a groundbreaking 360-degree action camera but had no digital experience to match. The product required complex technical integrations — Bluetooth pairing, hardware registration, interactive 360° video playback — across native mobile apps, web platforms, and eCommerce. With launch approaching, there was no design leadership orchestrating a unified experience across iOS, Android, desktop, and web. The challenge wasn't designing individual features — it was making the full ecosystem feel like one product.
THE ENGAGEMENT
I embedded with 360fly's product team for two years as UX lead — participating in daily standups with product, engineering, marketing, and management while owning design across every digital surface.
WHAT I DELIVERED
A cohesive digital ecosystem across mobile, web, and eCommerce.
On mobile, I designed the complete user journey from unboxing to first 360° capture — onboarding, Bluetooth pairing, account setup, hardware registration, and immersive video playback. The goal was transforming a technically complex setup into something that felt effortless in minutes. On web and desktop, I worked closely with engineering to improve eCommerce functionality — product discovery, purchasing flows, account management, and community features designed to connect users and showcase their content. Across all of it, I served as the connective tissue between marketing, product, and engineering — translating business requirements into user-centered solutions and turning technical constraints into design opportunities.
